Allegedly, Henry Ford was really into Thomas Edison and asked Edison’s son Charles to capture Edison’s last breath in a test tube. The test tube is on display at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI. My manuscript, The Inventor’s Last Breath, is based on this notion.
It is the telling of the story of the great inventor from 3 different perspectives: An omnipotent female character – The Talking Doll. The Inventor’s wife – Mary. And the Insomniacs who speak in the language of archived newspaper and can’t seem to fall asleep.
Anyway, I love this photo, it just kind of sets the imagination going.
